Our Classic Book
the foundation of your fine custom photobook
The price of one of our heirloom quality sewn books depends on the options you choose – like size, binding choice, cover style, number of pages, and who does the design of the pages. You can find out typical prices of a book with our most common options — like black bonded leather, blue-cloud end papers, or foil stamping — by using our Price My Photo Book tool, click here to begin.
One of our staff members is always available to discuss your project and to help you refine it to make it exactly the way you want.
Material Choices
Our basic sewn binding book has a rich black bonded leather binding with black, white or ecru end leaves.
We also offer luxurious full grain or goat leathers, Japanese silks or photographic wrap bindings for the exterior of the book.
And just inside, we can put exquisite Nepalese cloud papers or custom printed end papers.
Page Layouts
Each book we produce is unique, but can be described in terms of two basic styles – Classic and Magazine.
A Classic layout is the one preferred by professional photographers who want their photography to work hard. Like fine art books, this style has one or two images per page with white space on each page. [...]
Accessories, Slip Cases & Clamshells
Slip cases and clamshells enhance the presentation, and provide the perfect long term protection for these heirloom books.
Foil Stamping
The title of your book can be stamped on leather or fabric book covers. Choose gold, silver or blind deboss, block or script letters, centered or offset – a stamp is the final touch that personalizes your book.
Custom dies for logos or special fonts can be made or we can set text to stamp.
Titles can also be stamped on the spine.
