PhotoBook Design Tool

Step 1: Click the Download Software button above. Be sure to choose
right version of the software for your computer – Mac or PC. The software is contained
in a ZIP archive. This archive will need to be expanded. Mac users can download a free version
of Stuffit Expander here.
NOTE: On a Mac, move the Design Tool application out of the Downloads folder (the default destination) and on to your Desktop or Applications folder.
Step 2: Double click on the PhotoBook Design Tool desktop shortcut or application on your computer. The application will launch and you will see this window:
Click on the Photo Books icon in the upper left corner to launch the Design Tool. Or, click on any of the links in the Design Tool web page for more help on using the application.
Step 3: The quickest and easiest way to start your book is to click on the Photo Books icon and then Open New to launch the wizard. You will be asked some basic questions about your book, like the shape or orientation (landscape, portrait or square), the size, and whether you would like a Hardcover or Softcover book.
Step 4: Once you have started your book, you will be asked to choose a page layout style, and be asked to add your images to your book. You will then begin to lay out your book using the workspace and tools.
Step 5: Review all your pages and make changes (see the online help documents here). Once you are happy with your book, click the Send to PhotoBook Press button (located at the top left portion of the book layout window).
NOTE: You must keep the images in the book on your computer if you want to save the book for further editing. Images on an external hard drive that is disconnected will lose their link to your book – you will have to start over from the beginning.
Step 6: After you click the Send to PhotoBook Press button you will be guided through the steps of automatically uploading your book to our server. Once the upload is completed, you will automatically be redirected to the shopping cart page where you complete your choices and place your order. We request a 50% deposit when you submit your book.
NOTE: You may still make changes to your book after you submit it. We will contact you shortly after receiving your book with production details.
